FHE Mental Health Missionaries
Me stressed?
He doesn't look this relaxed when he's driving in the horrendous traffic here!
A new lease on life...DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY! This is what the spirit does for you and helps you refocus on what is important and what isn't.
That's me, attempting to play the keyboard for Relief Society....wonder why I may be stressed? |
Walk-Along Street Vendor selling something to Elder Oyler before District Training
Sister Fewster's Skin Infection Fiasco!
Her knee as it started out in the morning...it got increasingly worse during the day...but I don't have a picture of the infection on her hip. It was the size of a large man's fist,
and just oozing with yuck!
These are her scarred legs from insect bites. She has a very allergic reaction to them and when she scratches them she introduces all kind of bacteria.
ZONE CONFERENCE
Elder Osores, E/S Johnson, Sister Sitkotilani, Sister Avilla, and another Sister.
Sitko's farewell. :(
Morong Hospital
Ernesto Andres in the emergency room. We think he just needed a rest for all this trials and worry. They released him and sent him home.
Shopping for Cleaning Tools
10 Filipino brooms, 6 American brooms, 7 outside stick brooms, 15 dustpans with a handle brush, 5 tall handled outside dustpans, 18 packages of rags,
10 mops, 18 squeegees, 7 toilet bowl brushes with caddies, 16 CR brushes (scrub brush with a long broom handle), 8 dish scrubber/sponges, 7 all-purpose sponges, 1 mattress, 1 pair of rubber gloves, 18 toothbrushes (for the little jobs), 2 buckets....we are broke until we get reimbursed!
Notice how they wrap everything up with plastic string. They need to do this for the Filipinos especially because most have to carry their packages on a trike or Jeepney.
Wrapping our box of sponges, rags, scrub brushes etc.
Even tied the string through all the holes in the tops of our long-handled dust pans.
Tying string on the CR brushes for scrubbing the floors!

NANAY JOSIE (Ernesto Andres' Mother) She just turned 73 and is a great friend.
Just love her!
Just love her!
They even have a Coke for us "Senior" Couples...and for Missionary "Batchmates"
We are intrigued by the head coverings...especially the variety of hand towels.....
We will keep our eyes out...it's quite fascinating!
