More to see.....from sunny P!

Nanay Milan's House & Stairs

The caretaker only let us do a few stairs and not take them to the top for some reason.

BEFORE          and          AFTER!

THE HOUSE NEXT TO A TREE

 KITCHEN & LAUNDRY AREA

BED SERVES AS A TABLE AND A SHELF FOR BELONGINGS.

A tiny CR!

Hauling the left over hollow block and sand to our next project....to help the drainage at the Tindahan or to start Nanay Josie and Bet's home by William Bugaring's house.
Hard work for dedicated and service oriented missionaries!

Getting directions and training

It says:
Part 1:  Fitness Gym
Part 2:  The Doctor is in - First Aid
Part 3:  Amazing Race
Teams/ 3

 Stretching exercises etc.
were pretty basic and quite difficult for some to do.

First Aid Class taught by Elder Oyler (a Boyscout from Utah)

Stick splints....not exactly our RED CROSS version, but helpful.

 STOP THE BLEEDING....

And what is a YM's Activity without food?

Quite a bit different then in the States, but it makes them happy and full.
It surprisingly smelled really good.

Little interested on-lookers from the neighborhood....the boys were invited in to join the other boys in the activity.

Sights during shopping, hauling and DRIVING!

People selling their wares in heavy traffic from door to door....CAR DOOR that is.

Group of school girls having a snack at a mall...fun to watch.
Schools are tucked in everywhere and kids are always coming and going. I love the UNIFORMS!!

Here are some school kids finding respite from the rain under the eves of a corner store...kind of like a 7-11.

I held up ice cream bars and asked them to vote for the best ones to choose....they were so accommodating....and cute.  Great choice in an ice cream bar too.

See the kids in the rear window?  That is the same group.
The picture to the right is the store's solution to the roof leaking during the rain storm.  these plastic bins were catching a down pour but the floor was still covered.

The ice cream cooler is in the very back, red...SELECTA is the brand name of the ice cream here.  A bright spot in any day.
Broken fans needing to be repaired and our tools for repair jobs....always handy.

A road widening project along Sumulong Highway (a narrow barely two lane road for all vehicles and front porches for families)  Don't know if the government has eminent domain here or not but these homes are literally cut sometimes in half and the people are still living in them.  Notice clothing hanging to dry amidst the construction.  AMAZING!

Fabulous missionaries and new members!

A wonderful blessing for Sister Malou Guanzon!

After two years of dedicated service...

 Time to go home Elder!

We get to take all the home-bound missionaries from the Provinces into the office to start their exiting protocol.  We take Elder Kmetsch first thing in the morning and see him off as he heads home to Bountiful!

This is one of his "GOOD" shirts...
No ring around this collar, it's shredded!  :)
