Rick and I spoke today in our sacrament meeting. What a relief to have that over!! We decided we better get used to it because we are sure we are going to be called on often to bear testimony of our Savior and preach the gospel always.
We had some wonderful friends come and it was such an honor to have them come.
We had a special musical number sung by our neighbors the Nisse's, Prusso's and Kirkland's. They sang "I Hope They Call Me On a Mission" and included the words I wrote for Senior Missionaries:
We hope they call us on a mission
When our sweet children leave the nest
Our Lord wants Senior Missionaries
To share His love and teach His gospel with the rest.
We’ll consecrate our talents to Him
And serve with zeal and do our best
In gratitude we’ll share the gospel
And spread the truth and joy with others to be blessed.
Afterwards, we had a gathering at the house for family and friends to visit with us and say good-byes.
So many people....so little time. We will miss you ALL!
