The Flight.....A NEVER ENDING STORY!

Heather and Jared took Elder Johnson and I to the MTC at 4:15 a.m.  Here we are waiting for our bus ride to the Salt Lake Airport.  Not too bad for as early as it was.
We woke up at 3:15 in the morning and didn't arrive at our hotel until 2:00 a.m the next morning!  It was okay because we got up and walked etc. but the last 5 hours was HORRENDOUS!

Here are some pictures at the Manila Airport.  It was so busy, even at that time.  There are so many people here it looked like ants everywhere.

We traveled with a young Elder from Samoa who had been called to the mission that had the typhoon but a couple of weeks before the typhoon he hurt his leg and had to come to the states to get it operated on and so he missed the typhoon.  He was re-called to the Quezon City North mission.  He was so helpful with all the logistics of customs etc. it was a breeze!  We were met by a member of the church who is hired to pick up missionaries from the airport.  He took us to a hotel by the MTC and temple.
