Youth Conference & Temple Sealing....Who could ask for more?

Morong District Youth Conference

Beautiful views from Sierra Madre Resort Youth Conference 2014

The youth get to swim in this great pool.  It only cost them $600.00 to have 140 people there for two night and use of the facilities for three days.

A fantastically FUN zip line over the pool and quite a distance past the trees.

We did our workshop out in the great pavilion area.  These kids were so fun to be with.
Elder & Sister Jardine did one on PREPARING FOR A MISSION, ours was MODESTY and the Whitakers was on the PERPETUAL EDUCATION FUND.  Many or all could get help from the church to finish college.

Elder and Sister Whitaker to the left work in the city with the PEF, they are from Idaho along with the Jardines.  They are from the same Stake.  Sister Hernandez (yellow) is our Branch YW President and a Counselor in the District YW Presidency.  Sister Valdriz is the District President's wife.

They put on a big spread of food for us helping with the Conference.  It was very nice of them and was really good.  It looked like a caterer had brought it but in fact their were several RS President's there from our District who were cooking for everyone.

This cute young man asked if he could have his picture taken with me.
How sweet is that!!

SEALED FOR TIME & ALL ETERNITY!

DEXTER & VANESSA CANDARI with daughter YANNI

In our District Conference last Sunday President Pares said that "Death is automatic Divorce" for those not sealed by proper authority in the Temple of our Lord.
They told Yanni this was her dress to wear....She thought it was hers to keep!

The Candari's now have Brother William, his wife May Sue and their two very young children living in their hut with them as well as Nanay Josie and her sister Beth.  Six adults and three children living in a two bedroom hut with a living room, kitchen and CR.  They said they know how it feels to be homeless and wouldn't want them to experience that.

This was the family walking up the steep terrain from their hut early in the morning to be sealed in the Manila Temple.

TAGALOG LESSON
Our teacher Teresa Maia teaches us every Friday morning in her hut and her three children 8-12, watch, giggle at us, and help us with things we don't know....which is A LOT!
