Rainy Days ....Fun to Watch!

Fun to Watch People in the Rain...Especially Children

Here they are standing under a downspout and filling cups to pour over their heads.  Many times we see naked children just running and dancing through the rain. So cute!

It's hard to catch on camera what our eyes see.  By the time I get the camera out...it's gone.

I wish you could experience and see some of the very fun sights we see each day!

People standing in line at a local store....rain just plummeting them.  It is strange that the have a superstition about their backs getting wet during the "HOT SUMMER" months from sweating so they wear little folded towels on the collars of their shirts and down their backs.  Then during the RAINY season, you will see them walking soaked through and smiling.
Dirty water washed into the streets from a down pour!

Makes driving here even that more dangerous!

 Nanay Josie Andres Birthday Celebration!
Too bad the only picture had Josie's eyes closed.  She loved her ice cream and mosquito net!
 Filipino Homemade Otter Pops!

Not too sure about the color or flavor but they sell these for two pesos each.

Here are two women filling narrow plastic bags and tying them off.

Wala!  Treats...

This is a landlord over one of the Elder's apartments we went to inspect.  We asked her if she would repair some plumbing issues like a very leaky drain and to replace a couple of non-working faucets.  She was so ticked and got her contract out to see if she was responsible.  She said the Elders never cleaned their apartment and it was their fault.  After a short discussion she agreed to fix the problems and let us "ride" the Elders to be more tidy.  I gave her the brownies that the Elder's would've received if their apartment had been clean.  We left and came back in about two hours and their place sparkled!

NARROW ROADS LEADING TO ELDERS APTS.

You can just imagine us adding our big Ford Ranger Truck onto this little road.  Everyone stands on the sides and sucks in their guts!

Two trikes have a hard time passing
each other here.

ON THE ROAD TO SAMPALOC

The Jeepneys need to take a LOT of people since it's out of the way....
See how they pack them in and on top!!
I just couldn't resist....My camera isn't that good and through the windshield even worse but so cute.

Teresa Branch Family Home Evening

Opening Song & Prayer

Elder Harris leading a great lesson on FAMILY.
 Let the games begin....

You get the crowd in a large circle and have two neckties.  You divide them about half-way around the circle and one necktie is to be tied with one loop, taken off then passed to the next person to do the same.

The other necktie is to be tied with two loops. (or twice) and then passed on to the next person.

Soon the neckties become close to each other and chaos begins!
The one who is caught with a necktie on and the other one being handed to them has to do a "talent" for the rest.

Lots of fun!
Chilling with Fun Friends!
Here's a picture from our Family Feud FHE with the Seniors!

Thank you all for helping with the survey questions...it turned out really good.  This week was the "ACCIDENT INFO" FHE and we didn't get any pics from that....we are too busy facilitating it!
